	About me
	Joan Jandró (Barcelona 1965), started his artistic career in 1996; his first steps are linked to "la nau", an alternative school in his natal city, where he discovers the world of colour and starts experiencing with it; his first works are closed to abstract expressionism ands so they're classified by professionals close to the artist. Coincident with the change of the millennium, the catalan artist decides to change the trend of his career and studies several drawing techniques with Joan Ibáñez, an important artist of Barcelona. It's during this period when the artist includes in his works human figurative elements looking for a new language in order to better express his inside troubles. An exponent of this period are the"the temple", "war I", "three mysteries" or "once in a while my life", where it can be easily identified, the search of this new pictorial way, without leaving completely the abstraction always present in all his creative periods, both including tracks in its figurative creations and also in those of totally abstract expression.
